
Refund & Cancellation Policy
Participation in Second Star Youth Theatre programs requires a financial commitment that supports the planning and delivery of our productions.
As such, refunds are generally not offered for changes in personal circumstances.
1. Participant Withdrawal
Refunds for participation fees may be offered at the discretion of the Director in exceptional circumstances that make participation impossible, such as:

serious illness or injury
-
significant family emergencies
-
other extraordinary circumstances.
Requests for refunds must be submitted in writing.
Refunds will not be offered for:

change of mind
-
change of availability
-
dissatisfaction with casting decisions
-
withdrawal from the program after rehearsals have commenced.
2. Program Cancellation
If Second Star Youth Theatre cancels a program prior to its commencement, all registered participants will receive a full refund of participation fees.
3. Program Changes
From time to time, it may be necessary to make changes to program details, including scheduling, creative teams, or production elements.
Such changes do not constitute grounds for a refund.
4. Director Discretion
All refund requests are considered on a case-by-case basis and are subject to the discretion of the Director of Second Star Youth Theatre. Requests should be submitted to the Director in writing via email.
5. Financial Assistance
From time to time, Second Star Youth Theatre may offer limited financial assistance or fee relief to support participation in programs. Any such assistance is offered at the discretion of the Director and is assessed on a case-by-case basis. The availability of financial assistance is not guaranteed and may vary depending on program capacity and organisational resources.

For privacy reasons, details of individual financial arrangements will not be publicly disclosed. Families are also expected to respect the privacy of such arrangements and avoid sharing information about financial assistance with others.

Financial assistance arrangements do not create an ongoing entitlement and may vary between programs.
